Crucial problems related to various issues of nuclear as well as astrophysics are still open, triggering new researches in this field and the enthusiasm to organize events such us our European Summer school on experimental nuclear astrophysics. Once more students, young researchers and lecturers have gathered in Santa Tecla from more than twenty countries of the world. The school, though an European one, keeps playing the role of a meeting point of students of different nationalities from the whole world.
