Experimentierräume der österreichischen Literatur: Einleitung

The essay introduces the proceedings of the international conference dedicated to Austrian experimental literature „Experimentierräume: Herausforderungen und Tendenzen“ (23th-25th Mai 2018, at the University of West Bohemia – Plzen) from Romanticism to the present day. In the first part of the work, the authors' aim is to focus on the object of study starting from the two distinct definitions of avant-garde and literary experiment, also offering an overview of the critical literature dedicated to the subject. The second part of the text introduces the volume by presenting in detail the eighteen contributions.

Il testo introduce un volume di atti di convegno internazionale dedicato alla letteratura sperimentale austriaca, „Experimentierräume: Herausforderungen und Tendenzen“, che si è svolto dal 23 al 25 maggio 2018 all’Università di Plzen (Repubblica ceca) dal romanticismo ad oggi. Nella prima parte del lavoro è obiettivo delle autrici focalizzare l'oggetto di studio a partire dalla due distinte definizioni di avanguardia ed esperimento letterario, offrendo inoltre una panoramica sulla letteratura critica dedicata all'argomento. La seconda parte del testo introduce al volume presentando in modo dettagliato i diciotto contributi in esso contenuti.
