Ricerche interdisciplinari sulla Sicilia islamica

In recent years, studies on Islamic and Norman Sicily have developed considerably. The purpose of my article is to present an overview of the studies published in the last three to four years and of some ongoing research projects that promise important results for the cultural history of the Island, considered in the context of its complex Mediterranean dimension.
