The Journal 'ERKENNTNIS' printed the number VII in 1940 but, due to the outbreak of the WW2, it was published only in 1976. The number contained an undoubtedly significant essay by Hans Kelsen dedicated to the social and normative interpretation of nature in particular and to the genesis of political order in general. Kelsen's text has been published in Italian for the first time.
