The archaeological landscape of the Enna province consists of an extensive heritage comprising some of the most relevant national sites, such as the Roman Villa del Casale and the City of Morgantina. Other important sites, and countless minor remains, currently haven't adequate exposure, due to their exclusion from the information and itinerary networks. This contribution is centred on the possibility to identify the the archaeological district as significant landscape unit, in the inside of which even modest sites may have an appropriate syntactic collocation. These districts have been identified basing on the database of the Territorial Landscape Plan of the Province and the implementation of an integrated Fuzzy cluster analysis and WebGIS model, whose flexibility has allowed producing multiple relevant configurations.

Abstract
The archaeological landscape of the Enna province consists of an extensive heritage comprising some of the most relevant national sites, such as the Roman Villa del Casale and the City of Morgantina. Other important sites, and countless minor remains, currently haven't adequate exposure, due to their exclusion from the information and itinerary networks. This contribution is centred on the possibility to identify the the archaeological district as significant landscape unit, in the inside of which even modest sites may have an appropriate syntactic collocation. These districts have been identified basing on the database of the Territorial Landscape Plan of the Province and the implementation of an integrated Fuzzy cluster analysis and WebGIS model, whose flexibility has allowed producing multiple relevant configurations.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
