Review of the coastal quarries distributed on the south-east shoreline of Sicily. The individual contexts are described with particular attention to their technical characteristics, i.e. quarrying procedures, metrology, bollards for pulling stone and mooring ships etc. Whenever possible, the problem of their chronology and of the cities in which they could belong are examined on the basis of topographical and historical criteria.
