Among the Late-Antique and Medieval texts originally included in the codex deperditus nr. 610 of the inventory of the Bobbio monastery (10th cent.), there are two works lined up in close succession: the Disputatio of Alcuin of York and the Περὶ ἑρμηνείας of the Pseudo-Apuleius. Their inclusion and proximity within the codex – unusual for several reasons (age of composition, literary genres and themes) – is perhaps not accidental. In fact, interestingly, Bobbio’s inventory finds correspondence in the surviving St. Gallen, Stiftsbibliothek, Sang. 64 (third quarter of the 9th century): a codex, so far ignored, where the two texts are transcribed one after the other.

Abstract
64 (third quarter of the 9th century): a codex, so far ignored, where the two texts are transcribed one after the other.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
