Quality control in management of real estates is a strategy that can guarantee the conservation of economical value and the enhancement of the public building heritage. In order to reduce the burden of an efficient and effective direct management of the real estate, Public Organisations often transfer the management of their heritage to Private Organisations. The purchaser, entrusting Private Organisations management activities, should maintain a strategic role in planning and control. He should, also define the maintenance policy on the basis of both the surveying of users’ needs, and the available funds. Starting from the analysis of the school buildings management of the Province of Naples, carried out by the “ASUB” organisation, the present study points out methods and tools to optimise and control management procedures of the public building heritage entrusted to Private Organisations. The work establishes parameters that affect the building’s quality and the conditions in which the information analysis and exchange among operators is to be brought to execution.
