Griglie assiologiche per la costruzione del progetto. La rigenerazione dell’area della Centrale Enel Tifeo ad Augusta

This contribution deals with some economical features of the enhancement perspective for the thermo-electrical central Tifeo, in Augusta, facing the Ionian waterfront of Sicily. The valuation has been carried out in order to roughly verify the economic equilibrium of some of the most significant design proposals submitted by the nine design groups, focusing on the territorial and real estate values involved in the improvement process. The analysis compares transformation and restoration costs with the subsequent revenues, starting from the most complete and detailed proposal that has been assumed as benchmark for the other ones. As a consequence, some works and programs – typically involving long run benefits and mostly intangible effects – haven’t been taken into account in order to make them comparable to each other.
