In this work, we assessing management effectiveness of the Special Forestry-Pastoral Farm in Nicosia (EN) to assess the effectiveness management and impacts on the local economic system. At the same time, the application of this approach to agro-forestry-pastoral areas would represent a first contribution to increasing the interest of stakeholders and policy makers to develop and implement methods for evaluating the management effectiveness of “local government property”. The evaluation has highlighted the failure to achieve certain objectives, whose causes may be sought in both the fragmentation and discontinuity of execution of planned operations that the lack of ability to involve stakeholders in a participatory and shared management process.
