Gerarchie e conoscenza al tempo degli imam.

My article focuses on the companions of the Imams to outline not only their knowledge acquisition paths but also to identify the kind of knowledge they acquired. In addition I checked whether the type and level of knowledge acquired by these scholars determines the appointments to certain functions by the Imams. I have analyzed two different kind of sources written in the tenth and eleventh century: the classical sources of ʽilm al-rijāl, science which reviews the transmitters of the imam’s word in order to investigate their reliability, and the book dedicated to the theme of knowledge of the Kitāb al-Kāfī, written by Muḥammad al-Kulaynī (939-40 or 940-41).

Attraverso l’analisi del secondo libro del Kitāb al-Kāfī di al-Kulaynī, dedicato al tema della conoscenza, e allo spoglio della terminologia tecnica ricorrente nella letteratura proposografica classica imamita queste note intendono tracciare un profilo dei percorsi formativi, delle conoscenze acquisite dai discepoli degli imam e verificare se il tipo e il livello di conoscenza posseduta determina la nomina a determinate funzioni di rappresentanza dell’imam dell’epoca.
