Abstract

Based on the statistically significant results of the report carried out in the Emilia Romagna district and the great potential offered by the ceramic basin of eastern Sicily, it is proposed to develop a statistical monitoring system for Sicilian companies to encourage, obviously with a view to medium/long term and as part of a process of aggregation of the same, from responsibility for the environmental effects produced by local entrepreneurial activities. The contribution has a strong multidisciplinary character where statistical methodologies become a support for company economic evaluations.
