Per uno studio del verso libero

This volume, which has a Nunzio Zago's preface and a Carminella Sipala's introductory essay, contains the entire copy of the unpublished degree thesis which the young Giovanni Antonio Di Giacomo, (later become poet and called Vann'Antò), wrote about the free verse and Daniela Martorana wrote out for this edition. This publication offers the reader a wide reflection about poetic writing methods and poetic gesture and is open to matters which leave the simple metric field and belong to all the “champs littéraire” (Pierre Bourdieu's definition) and its functioning. Therefore the introductory essay investigates, on the borderline between France and Italy, the symbolist and futurist art leagues' activity with particular attention to the geography of the groups, the generational dynamics, the role of public and publishing industry and, finally, the criteria by which you can draw maps of the movements, you recognize the legacies and identify the lines of development.

Il volume con prefazione di Nunzio Zago e un saggio introduttivo di Carminella Sipala, contiene l’integrale dell’inedita tesi di laurea, appositamente trascritta e curata da Daniela Martorana, che il giovane Giovanni Antonio Di Giacomo, poi poeta col nome di Vann’Antò, dedica al verso libero. Questa pubblicazione offre l’occasione per un’ampia riflessione sulle forme della scrittura poetica e del gesto poetico, aprendosi a questioni che esorbitano il semplice ambito metrico e investono l’intero champ littéraire (nella definizione di Pierre Bourdieu) e il suo funzionamento. Il saggio introduttivo indaga dunque, sul confine fra Francia e Italia, l’attività dei circoli simbolisti e futuristi, con particolare attenzione per la geografia dei gruppi, per le dinamiche generazionali, per il ruolo di pubblico ed industria editoriale e infine per i criteri con cui si disegnano le mappe dei movimenti, si riconoscono i lasciti e si individuano le linee di sviluppo.
