Monoaxial tracking systems are discussed with attention to vertical axis tracking (VAT) and horizontal axis tracking (HAT). Their implementation on floating photovoltaic (FPV) plants is discussed. The VAT systems are described, and systems with confinement and without confinement are analyzed. Realization of these systems is shown with data about their efficiency in energy harvesting. HAT is studied, and a solution is proposed which exploits the gable concept suggested in Chapter 4. Possibility of realizing large plants is analyzed and a simple system FPV with HAT and reflectors is suggested.

Abstract
Monoaxial tracking systems are discussed with attention to vertical axis tracking (VAT) and horizontal axis tracking (HAT). Their implementation on floating photovoltaic (FPV) plants is discussed. The VAT systems are described, and systems with confinement and without confinement are analyzed. Realization of these systems is shown with data about their efficiency in energy harvesting. HAT is studied, and a solution is proposed which exploits the gable concept suggested in Chapter 4. Possibility of realizing large plants is analyzed and a simple system FPV with HAT and reflectors is suggested.File in questo prodotto:
