In addition to education and research, University should pursue the “third mission” to disseminate the acquired knowledge for the development of the Country. Facing a demand for design quality, innovation of models and processes, in the past the academicworld has contributed to implementing the effective disciplinary and professional tools, transferring innovations in the professions and sharing what was taught to respond to the needs of the society. Today this does not happen anymore and in the Schools of Architecturethe enhancement of knowledge, which mainly passes through the architectural project, assumed as a research tool, remains substantially prohibited by inappropriate and contradictory legislative devices.
