In this article, a contrastive translational analysis is carried out of a corpus of somatic phraseological units (UFS) that have in common the lexical base occhio. These expressions have been extracted from the Italian novel Sabbia nera by Cristina Cassar Scalia and its Spanish version Arena negra translated by Montse Treviño, and are part of a very broad group of somatic UFS that, for reasons of space, we cannot analyze in this work. The main objective pursued ha been to study the equivalences achieved in the translation into Spanish of these phraseologisms, the adequacy of the correspondences and the procedures used in the transposition process into Spanish. A fundamental step is the comparison of the phraseological status of each unit through its consultation in the lexicographic repertoires of Italian and Spanish, examining in turn the information that characterizes each unit and its contrastive pair in Spanish. The procedure for collecting UFS is manual in the source text (TO), Sabbia nera, and in the Spanish target text (TM), Arena negra.

Abstract
The procedure for collecting UFS is manual in the source text (TO), Sabbia nera, and in the Spanish target text (TM), Arena negra.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
