Abstract

The world of work today is characterised by complexity and change, and the resulting challenges are particularly demanding for emerging adults. The challenges presented in the career construction – in the period of emerging adulthood – together with the risky conditions of the working and social environments, can led both to adaptive and maladaptive outcomes; improving the psychological resources could help young adults in meaning making to the occurring events, subsequently developing effective strategies in managing uncertainty and risks. The online programme Jump into your future! is aimed to improve the career management skills; it is based on the Life Design paradigm and has the purpose to enhance the dimensions that will allow future workers to actively participate in their professional choices and decisions. The programme includes 15 online steps, conducted in a virtual class and three group meetings. Sixty undergraduate students participated in the programme and demonstrated greater levels of personal resources at its end.
