The problem of solar radiation harvesting using photovoltaic (PV) plants with fixed orientation is compared with PV plants with horizontal axis tracking and vertical axis tracking. Problem of bifacial panel and of albedo is also discussed. Land occupancy and geographic potential are analyzed. The advantages and potentiality of floating plants are outlined with reference to small basins and wastewater basins as well as to salty shallow water surfaces.

Abstract
The problem of solar radiation harvesting using photovoltaic (PV) plants with fixed orientation is compared with PV plants with horizontal axis tracking and vertical axis tracking. Problem of bifacial panel and of albedo is also discussed. Land occupancy and geographic potential are analyzed. The advantages and potentiality of floating plants are outlined with reference to small basins and wastewater basins as well as to salty shallow water surfaces.File in questo prodotto:
