A POSSIBLE UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MODELLING OF IDEA AND SCULPTURAL FORMThe essay, moving from the consideration that the reading of architecture, through the discovery of plastic and sculptural references, may refer to the concept of sculpture and offering a direct comparison of sculptural works with conceptual models of contemporary architectural forms, establishes a perceptual comparison of plasticity of the two arts, found not only when architecture is manifested by soft and sinuous forms, but also when it hold down an Euclidean geometry in its own morphological origins.Furthermore, the research deals with the plastic comparison of Holl and Eisenman architecture of with the works of Sol LeWitt, Robert Morris and Eduardo Chillida through maquettes of study and offers an experimental method to explore the buildings as special sculpture, stressing always the close relationship between the two arts.
