Sketching Smart and Fair Cities. WebGIS and Spread Sheets in a Code

The operative context of the urban regeneration is nowadays strictly connected to the information systems by means of which the urban wealth sur- plus is reallocated. One of the most relevant points of the regeneration policies is the lack of a general tool that allows to roughly “sketch the city”, that means, that produces significant options about physical, qualitative and monetary con- tents of the plan. The pattern we propose allows to implement detailed planning options that are valued real time so that the final solution can be progressively fitted until the best one is found. The pattern works by constantly comparing with and without project options, so that the qualitative and quantitative surplus production can be monitored.
