A study is reported on the effect of experimental conditions on the conversion of propane to aromatics over Pt-Me/ZSM-5 catalysts (Me = Ir, Re, La). The catalytic behaviour of Pt-Me/ZSM-5 depends on the nature of the added element. Pt-Ir/ZSM-5 is the most selective catalyst, with an aromatic yield obtained of 61.2%. The effect of addition of a second element on the mechanism of transformation of propane over Pt/ZSM-5 is also discussed.

Abstract
A study is reported on the effect of experimental conditions on the conversion of propane to aromatics over Pt-Me/ZSM-5 catalysts (Me = Ir, Re, La). The catalytic behaviour of Pt-Me/ZSM-5 depends on the nature of the added element. Pt-Ir/ZSM-5 is the most selective catalyst, with an aromatic yield obtained of 61.2%. The effect of addition of a second element on the mechanism of transformation of propane over Pt/ZSM-5 is also discussed.File in questo prodotto:
