Be-7 spectra from the Be-9 + d reaction at 48.3 MeV deuteron energy have been measured at different angles. Even if the data are compatible with the formation of H-4 in its ground state and in an excited state at a resonant n-t energy of 8.8 MeV, the inclusive nature of the experiment prevents any unambiguous conclusion.
