The work summarizes the results of a survey on organic farming in Sicily, aimed at increasing the knowledge on some productive chains of reference. Organic agriculture until now is investigated under the profile micro, macro and mesoeconomic with contributions on the impact produced by policies in support of the supply and of the demand. The originality of this work is bound up to the studies conducted on the individual productive chains due to particular lack of data and information on the prospects for the latter. The used approach allows, in fact, the participation of various categories of stakeholders, able to enrich the analysis with the point of view of professionals and to evaluate the prospects of the sector where the public support until now granted should be less.
