Abstract
This paper highlights the synchronic and diachronic evolution of the terminology which regards the dynamics of economics in the Mediterranean area. In particular, the neologisms and terms which have become polysemous will be examined thanks to the evolution of the production systems which have led to globalisation, producing both positive and negative effects. Today society has realised that industrialisation causes grave consequences to the environment and to mankind, and has adopted new policies. Our analysis shows that economic terminology is in constant evolution and is linked to the socio-political problems of a certain period. Our panorama is certainly not complete but is still very vast: starting from bartering, we examine the evolution of economics up to the internationalisation of business, globalisation and the digital economy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
