Matrici paesaggistiche dell’entroterra montano in Sicilia. Un approccio di valutazione integrata al caso di Petralia Soprana (PA)

The landscape units of the Sicilian mountainous inland, as for the case of Petralia Soprana, are marked and delimited by the presence of the ancient control centres of the agricultural territory, from which they were sustained, and to which they conferred a territorial significance. This unity has been interrupted by the radical transformation of the socio-economic structure and the technologic progress, that have eroded the consequentiality between structures and superstructures. This essay proposes a valuation model that formalizes the reflection conducted basing on the synthesis of two approaches, the semiotic one and the phenomenological one, searching for their convergence terms. The model allows to generate the whole of the interventions directed to recover the city-territory landscape unity the natural and cultural transformations have significantly reduced.
