Abstract
Upper Tortonian siliciclastic deposits are widespread in the Peloritani Mountains (NE-Sicily). The conglomeratic members of these successions contain different types of pebbles including clasts of magmatic rocks with porphyric structure. Geochronologic and petrologic observations show affinities of the studies pebbles with late-Hercynian high-K calc-alkaline dykes in central-eastern Sardinia.File in questo prodotto:
