Abstract
A new adduct, Ag(hfa).tetraglyme has been synthesized through the reaction of silver oxide, hexafluoroacetylacetone, and polyether in dichloromethane. The solubility and thermal behavior indicate that this adduct is a promising silver precursor for spin coating of silver-containing films. The present synthetic strategy opens a new route to an interesting generation of silver complexes, allowing the production of silver nanocomposites; in which the cluster dimensions can be tailored by the presence of an insulating medium.File in questo prodotto:
