Abstract
After having considered the principal observational evidence of rotation, the general hydrodynamic problem is set out from a theoretical point of view. In particular, the authors analyse the theories considering differential rotation as an effect due to the interaction of rotation and convection, pointing out the different proposed mechanism of angular momentum transfer toward the equator. Finally, within the framework of the general problem, these theorires are compared with one another.File in questo prodotto:
