This work is focused on a recent analysis of the 11B(p, 0)8Be reaction by meansof the Trojan Horse Method (THM) applied to the 2H(11B, 08Be)n process. This approachallows one to extract the S(E) factor for the astrophysically relevant 11B(p, 0)8Be reactionright in the region of the relevant Gamow peak (10 keV) where both electron screeningand extrapolations could influence the available direct data. The experimental approach andthe preliminary data of such investigation will be discussed.
