Cosmography and government. Secc. XVI-XVII During the sixteenth century, governing a kingdom imposes the need to have a framework at the same time ‘true’ and articulated in men, natural resources, wealth and culture, along with a design that represents the places, the lands, the cities: the characters of the various territories ‘in perspective’, which from then on will be called ‘cosmography’. The ‘design of the world’, resumed from the lexicon of classic geographers, offers conceptual schemes and models that should be reconsidered and examined by rulers and technicians, demanding and improving scientific and textual analysis that constitute the peak of Renaissance culture of entire European areas. Thus, reading of the cosmography is asserted as an accompanying tool of the creation of structures that compete, since sixteenth century, with the ‘system world’ and with the types of transition from domain to government.
Cosmografia e governo.

Abstract
Thus, reading of the cosmography is asserted as an accompanying tool of the creation of structures that compete, since sixteenth century, with the ‘system world’ and with the types of transition from domain to government.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
