The object of this study was to evaluate the activity of miocamycin and other macrolide antibiotics against T-strains of mycoplasmas, both clinically isolated and ATCC standard strains. The activity of the macrolides was tested by MIC determinations. To gain further knowledge about miocamycin and evaluate the relationship between in vitro activity and possible clinical use, sub-MIC tests were also performed.
