Evoluzione di una metropoli: Parigi, tra crisi degli alloggi, social mix e gentrification

The author aims at analysing the new urban geography of Paris through the analy- sis of its real estate market. In particular, she investigates the dynamics that are re- shaping the dialectics between centre and periphery in the whole metropolitan ag- glomeration. They are fuelled by the social and urban redevelopment in some cen- tral areas, the related growing social polarization, as well as the difficulties of the logement social, in some ways inadequate due to the current socio-economic crisis.
