Disagio "della" civiltà o disagio "nella" civiltà. Una discussione critica

From the point of view of Freud, it makes no sense to say: the discontent of civilization, because civilization, properly understood, serves to eliminate the discontents or to keep them in an artificially positive regime; for him it is meaning to say: the discontents in civilization (precisely as the original title says), because in this case it is about identifying the factor that corrupts civilization from the outside. From the second half of the 1920s, by far exceeding the results of the important essay entitled Massenpsychologie (1921), Freud identifies this factor in the individual instance or individual being (the subject of political and/or economic liberalism) who pretends to inhabit civilization and to exercise a domination on it according to its interests.
