Economic evaluation of innovative investiments in agri-food chain

The present research, providing a perspective of analysis on investment in ICT and their correlations with three of macro main areas of agri-food firms such as profitability, customer satisfaction and marketplace, through a methodological drawing based statistical research of deductive matrix, offers a contribution to the interpretation of countless uncertainties, highlighted in the economic literature of reference in relation to the problems that decision makers face in the choices of how, if and when it is appropriate to invest in facilities technological capital. The index considered in this article which index of profitability of management, is ROE, used to reduce the gap that emerges from the literature in relation to the meager scientific research within the framework of agri-food firms and in measures more accentuated, for those in Italy, especially in the context of technology investment and its impacts on profitability.
