The cervical disease is a clinical case that might be the consequence of a trauma, of static or functional alterations of the rachis, or psychosomatic disorders. However cervical traumas are more frequent. These ones, added to a substratum of segmental arthrosis and to muscular factors such as abrupt sprains or violent muscle contractions, determine the classic "whiplash injury". As to the labyrinthitis subordinate to a traumatic damage of cervical rachis, the trauma acting on cervical arthromuscletendinous proprioceptors produces dizziness and nystagmus. The Authors describe vestibular - spinal implications observed in a group of patients with cervical dizziness and whiplash injury.
