Abstract

This paper extends the hybrid finite-element method–Dirichlet boundary condition iteration method for the solution of openboundary electrostatic problems to the case, in which some floating potential conductors are present in the system. The iterative solution scheme of the basic method is modified in order to deal with the unknown values of the potential of these conductors.
