The knowledge which is discussed in the "knowledge society" in- cludes various dimensions (know-what, know-why, know-how and know- who), of which the most important is know how, which is referred to as "tacit knowledge". This concept is taken from Michael Polanyi, but it is also present in the works of Ludwick Fleck, Thomas Kuhn and Paul Feyerabend and enters into the theory of “knowledge management”, thanks in particu- lar to I. Nonaka. These thinkers rightly emphasize the importance of not strictly formalized factors and of a holistic and cooperative approach to science. It is only thanks to these factors that innovation and creativity are possible in the economy.
