The essay aims to investigate the roots of political hermeneutics of the term orexis as well as Aristotle uses it from the biological and anthropological subject, up to the sociological and narrative one with respect to the individual-city relationship.A theory of desire as anthropological perfection starting from a conception of a democratic and dynamic City, in the contextual terms of the Greek polis. In this area the comparison with the concept of eros of Platonic origin understood as lack, and the dimension of individual sociality in Aristotle as fullness.
