In 85 couples with 2 or more abortions, 1 case of 46 XX t (10-13) (q26; q21), 1 case of 46 XY/45 XO mosaicism in an oligospermic patient, 1 case of 47 XXX mosaicism, and 8 cases of chromosomal variants were observed. In 9 couples with previous malformed births 1 case of 46 XX fra16(q22) and 1 case of chromosomal variants were diagnosed. In 30 couples with only 1 abortion no abnormal karyotype was found. The authors retain that in couple with 2 or more abortions karyotype study is always indicated.
