Latin adjectives "inquinosus" and "sit(u)osus" are discussed here. The former should be restored in Colum. rust. 12,55,1 (on the preservation of pork) on the basis of another occurrence in Galen. alfab. 6,2 (where the preparation of starch is illustrated). The latter, correctly conjectured by K.-D. Fischer again in Galen. alfab. 6,2, is also attested in Galen. alfab. 44 (regarding adulterated saffron), which should be compared with Dsc. 1,26,1-2.

Abstract
Latin adjectives "inquinosus" and "sit(u)osus" are discussed here. The former should be restored in Colum. rust. 12,55,1 (on the preservation of pork) on the basis of another occurrence in Galen. alfab. 6,2 (where the preparation of starch is illustrated). The latter, correctly conjectured by K.-D. Fischer again in Galen. alfab. 6,2, is also attested in Galen. alfab. 44 (regarding adulterated saffron), which should be compared with Dsc. 1,26,1-2.File in questo prodotto:
