Food choices play a central role in effectively safeguarding the health of a population. It is widely known that healthy eating habits in younger consumer groups, are a key factor in preventing obesity and the many chronic illnesses related to it. This is true especially with respect to university student. Moving from college to university is a period of transition in the life of a student and the effects of food consumption is an important aspect of student wellbeing. The objective of this study is to analyse the eating habits of university students. The results of the study carried out at the University of Winchester will be presented. Using multivariate analysis, the research seeks to identify food choices by grouping students by homogeneous habits.
