A new realisation for the Saito hysteresis chaos generator (SHCG) is derived from a suitable connection of four generalised cellular neural (GCNN) cells. In this way the GCNN cell represents the building block for realising highly complex dynamics such as hyperchaos. The circuit implementation and the experimental results are reported.
