The AA. studied the incidence of fermeting and non fermenting Gram-negative bacteria isolated from hygienic kindnesses (lavotories and watwrs), personal and environment air in high, merdium and low risk departments. The diffusion of fermentig Gram-negative bacteria was particulary high in the personal hands (12.7%-13.5%), while the high incidence of non fermenting Gram-negative bacteria in the hygienic kindnesses (lavatories 58.8%-57.6% and waters 52.6%-49.4%) and in the environment air (55.6%-54.3%) confermed the high diffusion of these bacteria in the hospital environment.
