This Symposiumis dedicated to the geomatics approachesused for surveying, monitoring andmodeling the territory, both with classical techniques and innovative technologies.Geomatics approaches involve the use of the latest generation of laser scanners, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) or UGV(Unmanned Ground Vehicle)and satellite technologies. Particular attention will be given to the use of free and open source information technologies(GIS software, DBMS, photogrammetry, etc.) for the management of data acquired in the field. This session will allow attendees to review and shareknowledge and experience about environmental monitoring and modelling, reinforcing the cooperation between applied mathematics, engineering, environmental science and remote sensing.
