The paper aims to tell the history of Giacchetto palace, the most interesting example of residential architecture in Naro, a town in the province of Agrigento. On the basis of few bibliographical sources, the survey of the building and the discovery of new archival documents related to the aristocratic family, it has been possible to define the chronology of the palace and offer a hypothesis on its original aspect. Particular attention was paid to the theme of the corner window, whose configuration has been related to examples of the Iberian area.

Abstract
