Ricerca della nitrato reduttasi nei vegetali a foglia

In consideration of the importance of the vegetables in the Mediterranean diet and of the use, at times indiscriminate, of fertilizers in field, the present work would to verify the presence of nitrite/nitrates in the leaf vegetables (lettuces and spinaches), to compare it to the current agricultural routines that make use of nitrogenous fertilizers. To confirm the presence of nitrite/ nitrates the nitrate reductase (NR) has been determined. NR is one of the three enzymes responsible of the transformation of the nitrogen in the plants and, its determination, represents an useful dosing to calculate the degree of use of the nitrogen in the plant.
