The measurement of the parameters which characterize the behavior of computer networks has great interest in their control and management. The knowledge of such parameters, in fact, can be used in order to increase the protocol efficiency and reliability. The specifications of a tool called Network Measurement Module (NMM) studied to test, measure and control the services offered by a X. 25 network are given together with the first version of this module in a Z-80 multimicrocomputer environment.
