This short review article is dedicated to the Phosphonodithioformate-Amine Coupling (PAC) reaction. This reaction occurs by mixing phosphonodithioformate with amine without any catalyst and produces, according to a fast second order kinetics, phosphonothioamide. This reaction was applied to the functionalization of liposomes and opens new possibilities for the functionalization of synthetic or biologic materials.

Abstract

This short review article is dedicated to the Phosphonodithioformate-Amine Coupling (PAC) reaction.
