A proposito di ἐπικρηπῖδες in Theophr. char. 2, 7

In Theophr. char. 2, 7 the lesson ἐπικρηπῖδας should be retained. The term is attested in a recently edited section of the Latin-Greek glossary of the Hermeneumata Celtis. It seems to indicate a shoe with a certain refinement and is appropriate in the context of Theophrastus.
