Aim. The aim of this paper was to present a new clinicalrating scale for the evaluation of facial nerve paralysis.Methods. Our study started in 2007, we analyzed 180patients affected by facial palsy disorders, evaluatedwith three different scales, the House Brackmann, theMay Scale and the ADS Scale. Sixty were evaluated withHB and ADS for comparison of system. Our scale introducesdifferent concepts: district and subdivision of theface muscle, and a new method to evaluate syncinesis.Result. The results considered easy and speedy of evaluation, the accuracy of muscle deficits and correspondencewith the House Brackmann Scale. Scales werecompared to assess strengths and weaknesses and anew assessment system syncinesis was created.Conclusion. Small number of cases allows only a partialassessment, we believe that this new scale of evaluationmay be a viable alternative on the other system evaluation because might associate speedy and accuracy of diagnosis and classification in the facial palsy disorders

Small number of cases allows only a partialassessment, we believe that this new scale of evaluationmay be a viable alternative on the other system evaluation because might associate speedy and accuracy of diagnosis and classification in the facial palsy disorders
